C.R. Bard Volunteer Community Service Day
July 19, 2010On Monday, July 19th C.R. Bard hosted a Volunteer Community Service Day and many employees participated in cutting, folding and preparing ribbons for the upcoming Tie a Ribbon® Campaign. In no time, the employees prepared 1, 481,000 to be tied on trees in our communities, on main streets, school and corporate campuses. Last year, nearly 23,000 ribbons were tied in our nine county service area during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This very important breast health awareness campaign delivers the Komen life saving message of early detection and honors all those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
