Fashion Walk of Hope at Newport Mall

For some, it's been four years. For others, it's been four decades. But everyone who took the runway at Newport Centre's Fashion Walk of Hope were cancer survivors.
And they donned their very best to strut the catwalk to show that cancer won't keep them down.

"My mom has been through so much," said Leanne DeNera. "When she walked that runway, it showed that nothing will hold her back. She has been cancer-free for nine years."
Fashion for the walk was provided by Macy's. Makeup was provided by Sephora and hair styling was courtesy of Broadway Hair Care.
All weekend, local organizations including the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Affiliate and the Jersey City Medical Center will showcase products and services.
