Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is honored to benefit from Rally for the Cure®, presented by Condé Nast Publications. Rally for the Cure’s primary goal is to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s commitment to awareness as the first step in eliminating breast cancer. Since its inception in 1996, Rally has reached over 1.5 million participants and has raised more than $45 million for Komen across the country.

Here in Northern New Jersey over 25 Rally for the Cure® events are held each year.

 

What is Rally for the Cure?

Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program designed to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer through volunteered organized golf, tennis and social events. In partnership with Condé Nast Publications, Rally empowers people to support the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure by spreading awareness in their community through an activity they are passionate about. Volunteer Ambassadors also may host and plan fundraising events to benefit Komen. Each registered participant receives event favors, important breast health information from Komen, as well as a one-year subscription to select Condé Nast magazines such as, Golf.

How to Rally

  • Select a Date and Activity
  • Invite Participants
  • Collect Entry Fees
  • Spread the Awareness Message

Volunteer event "Ambassadors" host and plan the events locally. Rally provides all the materials to support the event including event decorations, a prize, participant goody bags and other breast cancer awareness items. It is that simple!

How can Rally for the Cure benefit the Komen North Jersey Affiliate?

If your Rally event has a fundraising component you can designate that ALL of the funds raised come back to the North Jersey Affiliate.  Komen North Jersey supports community-based education, screening and treatment programs focusing on underserved women.
