The NJMS-UH Cancer Center Faculty, Students and Staff Support the Susan G Komen Foundation!
The New Jersey Medical School- University Hospital Cancer Center (CC) is located at the corner of Bergen Street and South Orange Avenue on the Newark campus of UMDNJ. This facility, which opened in October of 2006, is designed to support innovative basic and translational research, as well as provide the highest quality clinical care.
The Cancer Center represents a new paradigm in focused research initiatives. The laboratories are chosen from among the many academic departments at NJ Medical School. This interdisciplinary approach creates unique collaborative opportunities that push science in new directions. It is our mission to develop research programs that take advantage of this diversity and lead to advancements in the laboratory as well as the clinic.
