I just wanted to express my experience at Just for You Two Mastectomy Boutique, located in East Hanover, NJ.

Before I went to this boutique, I was a bit skeptical not knowing exactly what to expect. I didn’t want to be late so I arrived a little earlier than my appointment time.  As soon as I entered the boutique, I was greeted by Beth, who ran the wig shop downstairs.  She asked if she could help me and I told her that I had an appointment to be fitted for bras and prosthesis.

She checked with Carol and Andrea, the boutique owners, and they said they were with a client and would be with me in a few minutes.  In the mean time she invited me to come in and start trying on wigs.  She was really helpful and patient, and made me feel very comfortable in asking questions and trying on various wigs.

A short time later, Andrea Schnibbe and Carol Buono, the Mastectomy Boutique owners; came down to greet me and let me know that they were ready for me to come up stairs and get started with my fitting.  Well I must say that to my surprise, the shop was set up just like someone’s home.  Everything was bright and cheerful and both Carol and Andrea made me feel so special.  I think they treat all of their clients in this manner.

They made me feel comfortable and at home.  They were very understanding and catered to my every need as well as answer all questions I asked.  We talked about my children and family and how they were all handling my situation.

I found both of these ladies to be warm, friendly individuals and I would recommend their business to all women who have had a bout with cancer.

I would also like to thank Alyson Slutzky, my Breast Cancer Social Worker at Beth Israel Hospital; for all her help in steering me to Just For You Two Boutique.  She has been a tremendous help to me in many other ways as well.  She has been an ear for all my concerns and has made me feel that I can call on her at any time.  Not only is she my social worker, she has also become a friend.

Thanks so much Alyson for all you do.

Sincerely,
Ida
