This program assists breast cancer patients in Passaic County who are uninsured and underinsured obtain breast prostheses, mastectomy bras, and wigs during their treatment regimen.

 In Their Own Words…
The Breast Cancer Prosthesis, Bra, and Wig Supportive Services Program will assist St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center’s Breast Cancer patients and Breast Cancer patients in Passaic County who are uninsured and underinsured to obtain breast prostheses, mastectomy bras, and wigs for the duration of their breast cancer treatment regimen.  This program will also provide a private and comfortable atmosphere for our patients as they receive professional assistance while having their post mastectomy, and breast cancer treatment needs fulfilled. The program’s goal is to service at least 30 patients with prostheses, bras and wigs. Our target population includes women (of all nationalities) with breast cancer in Passaic County.
