The North Jersey Affiliate’s Grant Program is dedicated to providing equal access to quality breast health care for all women. This program extends throughout nine counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren.
Seventy-five percent of net funds raised by the Affiliate remains in the Northern New Jersey region to support community-based breast health programs focusing on the medically underserved and uninsured populations. Since its inception in 1997, the North Jersey Affiliate has awarded over $11 million in grants to more than fifty different organizations.
The remaining twenty-five percent is contributed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Research Grants Program. To date, the Affiliate has contributed approximately $5.1 million to this Program.
