A new & special program created by the North Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for the 2012 Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure.

You Are Invited
We invite you, a North Jersey physician, to help us honor women and men who have fought and are fighting
breast cancer. Send a message to your patients that you care about their quality of life by becoming a Doctor
for the Cure.

The dollars raised through Doctors for the Cure will ensure that any survivor who wants to participate in the Race,
who does not have the financial means to do so, will be able to do so. 75% of the event net proceeds will be used to fund education, screening and treatment programs in the North Jersey community while 25% will help fund the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program.

The Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure is one of a series of 133 running events worldwide for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This series is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer. It is an emotional and exhilarating event that gives families an opportunity to support the fight
against breast cancer in their communities.

HOW TO JOIN
Joining Doctors for the Cure is as easy as registering for the Race online! Just visit www.komennorthjersey.org/race and register as a DOCTOR FOR THE CURE. The cost is $100.00.
By joining Doctors for the Cure online you will be automatically registered for the Race for the Cure on May 6, 2012.
