If you know any woman currently undergoing Chemo for Breast cancer, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. http://www.cleaningforareason.org Please pass this information on to bless a woman going through Breast Cancer treatment. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women.. It’s our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. CONCEPT: Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey Affiliate believes in the concept of prevention and control of breast cancer through education, anticipatory guidance and early intervention. Based on this concept, the Affiliate will present basic, age-appropriate state-of-the-art breast health information and teach the techniques of breast self-examination (BSE) to high school students: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors with the guidance of the school nurse, health teacher or appropriate counselor.

CONCEPT: This “Corporate Lunch and Learn Breast Health Program” is a complimentary, one-hour, comprehensive breast health presentation given by a breast specialist in a power point format. The program is scheduled during a corporation’s lunch hour and is available to any corporation residing in the Komen North Jersey Affiliate’s nine-county service region. The speaker facilitates an interactive program which the Komen Organization believes is most beneficial to participants. Audiences generally average 35 persons. The Affiliate provides complimentary education materials and giveaways for the event.
